THE BELOW IS A HIGHLY UNLIKELY SCENARIO, BUT IT'S A PERSPECTIVE WORTH CONSIDERING

If Bitcoin falls out of the channel it's held to, I'll have to wonder whether it will survive at all; although it is entirely possible that it finds support around $1,200 followed by a quick bounce to $3,000, upon which it would then enter a new price discovery phase seeking to find new support at price levels below $1,000.
